SO that's how I spent my weekend. watched a totally sucky show, Cadaver, which is sorta a prelude to my wonderful weekend movie marathon.

Followed by Fracture, which is a very good show. Anthony Hopkins' character is excellent, and I love all the witty remarks and comebacks in the show.

And lastly, ending the weekend with a bang, is the socially-unacceptable show, 200 pounds beauty. The guy's cute, the girl's pretty. Predictable storyline, but still enjoyable, nonetheless. A mixture of funny and sad (& touching) parts. Anyway I just realised something. In every korean show, there's always a cute guy (or at least the main actor), one natural beauty (who isn't considered pretty, but has other talents) and one overly made-up 'pretty' girl.

Anyway these 2 girls is the same girl. Why?? Go and watch the show.

So that was close to a total of $20 spent on movies, not including food.

Can't wait for ANTM tonight! WOHOO!

Went to watch Cadaver with Shwetha, Yanni and Khairun. Sucky show, don't watch. Boring plot, boring twist, and very lame. ALOT of anti-climatic moments. I don't know about how scary the ghosts were cuz I was covering my face.

Alot of good shows coming! Can't wait!

I had a nightmare. About freaking Unit Ops. I seriously think my brain's overworking, because in my dreams, I realised what a huge blunder I made in for the last question, and then I just screamed in exasperation. In the dream AND in real life. My sister thought something bad had happened. HAH! Higher level of dreaming man! Can analyse stuff!

Okay anyway, my weekly anecdote about my driving experience. I got lost trying to drive to NUH, and ended up in NTU! Started panicking and then thank god for the street directory. I followed the map of expressways closely. Luckily the traffic was damn slow, such that I could read the map every 10secs or so. Phew, got to NUH in one piece. Somewhere along Clementi Rd, I stopped at the red light and looked around to get my bearings. And this malay guy in this ultra-gay-light-blue mini car looked at me, adjusted his cap, started smiling in this freaking weird way. *shudder*

Anyway I didn't bother following the directions I printed from the streetdirectory.com because I couldnt find the road, and HEY! NUS is up ahead. Its safer for me to go through NUS than drive around outside. Im thankful for all those times I had to go to NUS for mock camps and camps and dikir practices so at least it didn't seem unfamiliar.

SO yay! Now I know how to drive to NUS and back home.

Went to 7-11 last night and guess wad?? You can take your own ice cream. Okay, it's been quite a while since I last did this. So we got all excited to use this!!!

And then we were wondering why no ice cream came out. We pressed it up and down and nothing seemed to come out! No nicely swirled ice cream. Guess why?

ITS EMPTY!! And my cousin was the one who pointed it out to me. Kental oh kental..

SO this month's my dad's turn to be hospitalised. That makes it a monthly thing for me to go to the hospital. And I freaking hate hospitals.

Feb: Grandpa
March: Mom
Apr: Dad

I hope nobody else in this world who matters to me will be hospitalised next.

This totally sucks. Like as if exams aren't bad enough.

My cousin (the one u all saw on my hp vid) was crying or at least holding back tears when he saw my dad. Going to hospitals has this bad vibes for him ever since my grandpa, and when he saw all those ECG stickers thingy on my dad, and the huge needle through his hand, the first thing he said was "..like Tok (grandpa).."

I hope my dad will be released (is that even the correct word?) tmr, and that there's nothing wrong with him, and everything will go back to normal, as if it never happened. And that's the perfect reason.

For totally selfish reasons, I hope he will get out tmr because I hate going to hospitals and NUH is so damn freaking far and so difficult to drive to that I shall not even attempt to, and I wanna go out with my friends this Friday.

To top it all off, everytime I attempt to study, I can hear warning sirens through my head, and it's making the bloody headache worse.

I swear this thing called Mr Exams is doing voodoo on me.

Or maybe its Mr Stress, which is the child of Mr Exams, who/which(?) is the child of Mr Procrastinator, Mr Lazy and Mr Denial. Okay that is totally wrong.bad bad images in my head.

Why is it called Mr, and not Ms? Because this is my blog and I can call it whatever I want.

AND
because guys love to inflict pain on others. On what basis?? I DONT KNOW!

Hey you guys. Remember the email about the Lays, Frittos, Doritos chips that contained animal fats whatsoever? I checked out the Fritto-Lay website. There's a list of chips that DO contain addictives of animal origins, BUT the ones that are sold in Singapore DO NOT contain any of these stuff. Just to be on the safe side, check the webbie okay?

So sue me. I did photoshop instead of study. Well, its not like anything could have entered my already super-saturated brain. SO its either tv, sleep or photoshop.

Yes I know I look stunned and have tt ugly eye bags. Its the only picture I could find of myself with that huge "in-your-face" face. I just wanted to try out the tutorial I found. Ill do a better job for my new blog layout AFTER exams, which isn't too far away.

Yeap, i did try to change my hair colour and see what I look like being a blonde bombshell with blue eyes. Truthfully, the comic art looked like any other comic art character like Betty/Veronica.

33 dead, including gunman, in Norris Hall and dormitory shootings.

A doctor at a Blacksburg hospital described the injuries he saw Monday as "amazing" and the shooter as "brutal."

"There wasn't a shooting victim that didn't have less than three bullet wounds in them," said Dr. Joseph Cacioppo of Montgomery Regional Hospital.

Even among the less serious injuries, Cacioppo said, "we saw one patient that had a bullet wound to the wrist, one to the elbow and one to the thigh. We had another one with a bullet wound to the abdomen, one to the chest and one to the head."

What the hell was wrong with that guy??? Just now I was making stupid comments about this. The gravity of this situation has just dawned on me on how easy it is to kill the entire cohort. You know, somebody could just walk into the LT and start shooting randomly. Its scary to think that this could happen, in a bloody university. Schools in the US aren't safe anymore.

"He just stepped within five feet of the door and just started firing," said Erin Sheehan. "He seemed very thorough about it, getting almost everyone down, I pretended to be dead."

Cho, a 23-year-old South Korean and resident alien, lived at the university's Harper Hall, Flinchum said. He was an English major, the chief said.

Cho was a loner and authorities are having a hard time finding information about him, said Larry Hincker, associate vice president for university relations.

I went to get the car from the 3rd floor of the multi-storey carpark,and then I realised that I left my phone in my room. So, being the smart one, I decided to bring the car down, and then go upstairs and get the phone. BUT then, blaghgatro8qejkbe oihgsotyewtsd apriweoyr..

Its the attack of the Red Bull girls!! Hah! All of them talked about how the gold red bull has twice the sugar content, and how Red Bull is better than coffee, oh and this blue one contains taurine, which helps regulate stress (well, taurine content is only 0.4%). See! I pay attention to what they say! For the past month, Ive gotten 3 cans of Red Bull, and that's more red Bull than Ive ever drank in the past 5 yrs or so. Or maybe my entire lifetime. And I think this Red Bull doesn't work for me. I haven felt less sleepy or more energised at all.

Im quite glad that he didn't get through to the next round of anugerah. Okay, for selfish reasons, I dont wanna join the whole fan club of teeny boppers who scream out "R***s!! R***s!" when he's performing. And plus, I tink he belongs in the dikir world. Yeap, he does have an exceptionally wonderful voice, but I don't get why all these dikir people would wanna go and join the mainstream music. Don't they realise that it's pointless because of the small market in Singapore?

Anyway the judge commented that he always sings a note higher than the actual key played on the piano of whatever. SEE! A sign. Stick to the dikir world. Nobody cares whether ur singing a note higher than the rebana! And he's the one who always sets the key for the lagu juara! hah!! *okay, stalker alert!*

And lastly, the skies in NTU. I love taking photos of the sunset in NTU. Really really gorgeous sights. The next time I plan to go home late, I should bring my digi cam. The sun just now was so beautifully round, and we could literally see it set,or hide behind the clouds for that matter. Makes you appreciate the simplicity in the beauty of nature.

People ask me how I stay happy and positive. What they don't realise is that Im feeling the exact opposite most of the time. well, at least right now, i feel like shit. And yeap, some of you catch a glimpse of that when I let my guards down. But seriously, denial is the way to go. And then there comes the panic attack.

On top of that, there's people pressuring me all around.

Excuse me for being a complete bitch but

I don't need a daily reminder that I'm an under-achiever.
I don't need a daily reminder that I'm a screw up.
I don't need a daily reminder that I'm way behind time.

I had major plans for today. BIG plans, which include studying a whole lot. Instead for every part of a problem i solve (which took 15 mins), ill take 2 hrs break. And all Ive been doing is eat, sleep, and sneeze.

And then I wanted to update my blog with the long waited lab photos (only bio ones, the others dont have interesting instruments and equipments),but NO! my phone/laptop..either one, decided i shldnt upload the photos today and kept shutting down. bloody bugger.

Anyway I had this random thought.

If we ate about 2 slices of bread each day,
About 3-4 times a week,

That would add up to :
8 slices a week
32 slices a month
384 slices a year
and for the past 19 years of my life (i dont eat bread when i dont have teeth obviously!),
Ive eaten a total of about 7300 slices of bread!!

And that's not counting all those pastries and donuts and little cakes and baguettes and croissants and burgers and whatnots.

Time really flies huh. Next week's already week 13, and my first paper starts on week 14. whoopee. I really can't wait til after exams. MAJOR PLANS!

-Teach n2f to bake cupcakes
-Watch Charmed, Heroes, Ugly Betty, Desp Housewives, L word, One litre of tears, My girl, Seducing Mr Perfect, and all the not-so-new-hindi shows my sis bought a few mths ago, and the dvds I haven't watched
- Pick up a new skill (haven't really decided on that)
- Catch up on my books (YAYYY!!!)
- Clean up my room, cupboard (MAJOR SPRING-CLEANING!!)
- Organise the mountain of photos
- EXERCISE!
- Get the girls over for choc fondue
- Do photoshop --> this is difficult. I only feel like doing it during exam period!
- BAKE!
- Go to the DIY bake shop
- Carousel!!!!

Okay ppl! KEEP 11th May free for Carousel? Or any other date for that, I don't really care anw.

Hell week's over!! yayness!! I felt soo relieved by the end of my section for the presentation just now. Phew. Now its time to concentrate on exams and one last upcoming quiz.

You know how it is, when after the entire hectic schedule and annoyance you have to go through, and then suddenly, all's fine and dandy? And then everybody seemed to be nicer than they actually are?

Well, after Monday's presentation, my group mate emailed us this :

Hi, I just wanted to say thanks to all for hard work and effort. I think we all did a great great job. Feedback might be a little tougher than we expected but I would just take it in a big hearty stride and strive for better the next time around. Lets all of us keep in touch. Cheers R****t
which then started the whole emailing each other and giving best wishes and good luck and blah blah.

See. I knew my group mates were good people. Well, I'm just glad that it's over and done with.

And to Ping2, Khairun and Shwetha:

Good job u guys, for today's presentation! It's finally over!! I *heart heart* you guys. And Im so glad that you all were my group members, instead of people I can't/won't be able to get along with.

My feet's aching and all blistery cuz I had to wear my heels. I need to shop for more practical shoes!! Met Syaaaa at the musolah just now and she commented that my heels were killer heels. Well, they WERE killing my feet, but that's the price of vanity I suppose.
